Background
Perthmore Enterprises Inc. initially provided a Draft Plan of Subdivision in 2021 pertaining to Perthmore Phase 6, and a Public Meeting was held on April 19, 2021. Comments were received from agencies and the public at that time.
A resubmission was received by Lanark County and the Town of Perth on July 20, 2023, which staff reviewed and prepared draft conditions.
Notice was received in early 2024 that Perthmore Enterprises Inc. had submitted an appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) regarding the Zoning By-law Amendment and Plan of Subdivision.
As the matter is one of a legal capacity, Town staff and Council are not able to make public comment. Furthermore, Town staff and Council no longer have the ability to make a final decision on the subject as a result of the appeal; this decision will be made by the Province through the OLT.
